The best baby wrap carrier of 2022
- Simple, no-guess tying instructions and just one size make this wrap your GO-TO BABY CARRIER for the first three months of parenthood. It was the first of its kind and the simplicity of the idea has kept moms and babies together for 10 years.
- STRETCHY and SOFT, machine washable fabric that will keep your baby close. So much easier to clean than a stroller or car seat! You can machine wash and dry this wrap, making life just a little easier for new moms.
- ERGONOMIC seat for baby, ergonomic weight distribution for mom and dad! Each time you tie the wrap, you create a CUSTOM seat for your baby. Knee to knee support every time!
- EASY to tie and easy to breastfeed in. It even acts as a privacy shield for nursing moms because you can nurse while wearing it, without taking your baby out of the wrap.
- Bond with your little one while getting back into the swing of things: you'll be able to tie this once and then wear it out and about. 95% Cotton, the Spandex in our wrap allows it to retain its shape and not loosen or sag as you re-adjust to nurse or take baby out to go for a ride in the car. Just like your favorite yoga pants, the wrap stretches and supports you and your baby.

Boba Wrap Baby Carrier FAQ
Would this baby carrier work for a plus-size mom?
The Boba wrap baby carrier is designed for parents of all shapes and sizes. The 5.5-yard-long (198 inches) fabric can fit moms or dads who want an adjustable, hands-free option that they don’t need to think about when carrying their child in public.
With this baby carrier, can you turn the babies facing outwards?
The Boba website states that forward-facing is not recommended while using one. It can be quite dangerous and uncomfortable for both parents, as well as the child if done incorrectly – so don’t risk it! Have your kid face you instead which provides more support to his/her hips (and thus less strain), plus they will enjoy being close to their caregiver again thanks in part to this moveable seat arrangement that allows him or her partial enclosure from external noises like traffic noise without having any fear whatsoever due lack space protection.
Why should you use a wrap over a soft baby carrier?
The main reason for using this type of carrying method is that it’s completely customizable. You can make sure your newborn is being held securely in place with the extra padded straps, so there are no worries about them not feeling comfortable or supported enough.
Best customer questions & answers by-product Boba
Do these come in different sizes?
The Boba Wrap is one size! It is 5.5 yards long which enables moms of all sizes to wear it – the only difference being how many times you need to wrap it around your waist. Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.
I see from the pictures that the babies are all facing inwards. Is there a way to face them outwards with this wrap?
No, this wrap is intended for inward-facing only! (says so on the packaging) I love it though as a plus-size woman it is next to impossible to find a carrier that fits let alone is as comfortable as this wrap is.
The best review Boba carrier for a newborn
I’ll be wrapping my four-month-old little girl, but she is really chunky. So for size reference, if you guys have a newborn or you do have a six-month-old, this might be a good video for you to kind of see what you can do with the wrap in different sizes of babies.
But it’s just a fantastic way to beef hands-free and be able to do the dishes or vacuum or whatever you gotta do around the house while still happy, helping your little one, your new little one. So without further do we’ll go ahead and get started.
So go ahead and grab your wrap. That’s the first step obviously. And I, as I said, I have a Boba wrap, but a mob they’re basically the same thing.
So the first thing you’re gonna do is find that, um, middle sticker or tag or a little imprint, you’ll kind of have a different one depending on what wrap you have, but I’ll put the link below for my wrap too, if you don’t have one yet, and you’re interested in getting one, but the middle tag, this basically shows you the middle of the huge lawn wrap.
So this is really important. So you’re gonna do that first and then we’re gonna go ahead and just fold it in half. So that it’s a little bit skinnier like this. And then I always try to drag it out just a little bit so that you, there we go.
And then you’re gonna put that middle tag right over your belly button, and we’re gonna make sure that the fold is going up. You guys can see that.
So here’s the tag and then the little sandwich part is facing up. Okay. So then we’ll go ahead and kind of fold out the long part a little bit, making sure that that fold is staying up and what I like to do, especially if you’re a beginner and you’re not super comfortable with the wrap yet is hold it out.
Like, like, so, and then you’re gonna bring it around and kind of bend your arm and we’re gonna go over the opposite shoulder. And what this does is it helps keep it a little bit more flat than if you’re doing them both at the same time.
So the flatter it is in the back, the more comfortable it’s gonna be for you. So we’ll go ahead and fold that down and then kind of angle that out and you’re gonna wanna make sure that the fold part now is facing in so towards your chest. And then we’re gonna go ahead and do the same for the other side.
So we’ll make sure that the tag is still in the middle and then we’ll wrap this one around and then we will make sure that this fold is still sitting in and go up and over.
So main things here, once you’re at this step and you can kind of pause and start to kind of do this with me. If you have your little one with you, but the main thing is you have the tag in the middle with the fold in the middle, and then these are gonna go over both shoulders with an X in the back and then open both to the middle. Okay. And this is what it’s gonna look like from behind.
So you should just see a nice X there. You can kind of straighten this out too. If that helps you kind of be more comfortable. And I like to put it a little bit more over my shoulders, like a shirt.
Um, it just helps it rather than being bunched up like a tank top. It’s not as comfortable and once baby’s in and the weight’s kind of down, it helps it to just feel a lot better.
So now that you’re at this step, we’ll go ahead and just kind of bunch up the wrap that’s hanging down. So you’re just gonna ball it up and then we’re gonna pull this out and drop the whole thing through just like that. And I’m always adjusting as I do so that when I get to the end, I don’t have a bunch to kind of smooth out.
So now that we have that, now we’re gonna cross it over again. So we’re gonna make another X so that they pass over each other.
Okay. So you should see there’s an X underneath this and the tag is still in the middle. And then we’ll go ahead and just twist this around our back.
And depending on how much lag you still have, you can kind of see how many times you wanna wrap it around you. And then basically this is just to tie off.
So we’ll tie it off and I do it in the middle and I usually do two ties. And then instead of having this kind of hang-down, flaps, we’ll go ahead and just tuck that right in. Honestly, this is just more for looks rather than anything.
So now that we have our tag in the front, these two in the back and we wrapped around and tied, we are ready to go grab the baby. So I’ll be right back. Okay. So grabbed the baby. And this is miss Ava. Jo, can you say hi, you say hi. So this is my four-month-old little girl. Um, as I said, she’s a little on the chunky side. She’s in like six to nine-month close.
So for a little size reference, I think she’s getting close to 15 pounds. So, um, if you have an older baby, this would work for them. Or if you’re gonna have a little newborn, then I can kind of show you as we go. What you would change. Just little tweaks here and there so that your newborn would would fit snug too.
So, um, the first thing we’re gonna do is figure out which of the crosses on the top are underneath on the bottom. So that’s this one. I don’t know if you guys can see that.
So we have, this is the top one, and then this is the bottom. So we’re gonna wanna open that flap and then babies bum is gonna go right in there. So we’ll go ahead and do that.
Are you ready? Miss Avala. Okay. So we’re gonna hold her up and then she’s gonna actually have her toes go all the way through. They don’t always love getting in the apple say, and then toes will go through and then we’re gonna pull this.
If I can see, there we go. So we’re gonna pull this one that was underneath the bottom one, kind of over her tushy to help her be supported. All right. You liken this, Missy, and then we’re also gonna have her leg go through that other strap too, so that her legs are totally out.
And then if you had a newborn, you’re gonna wanna just tuck up their toes kind of underneath their bum. Like they are in the womb and that’ll stay actually in the wrap rather than poking them through once they’re bigger and can hold their head up. So that’s kind of the difference there.
Okay. So toes are through, so we’ve wrapped that underneath one over, over her backside a little bit here, and then we’re gonna do the same for this one.
So that should feel real good to her and then pull this bottom one up as well. And then you can kind of tuck it underneath. So it’s supported. Yeah. There. Okay. And then as you, um, you know how she gets bigger, whatever’s most comfortable.

Baby K’tan Original Baby Wrap Carrier FAQ
Is it possible to nurse in this carrier?
The front hug and side hip positions are perfect for nursing your baby in! The instructions also warn that you should make sure to check over safety features before trying them out.
Would you be able to wear a baby on your back with this?
The safety of your baby is too important to take risks with, even if it’s just in passing. While the manual doesn’t show how you could wear them on your back while using this carrier and they don’t feature that position online or elsewhere I’ve seen questions addressed at least once before – we are not sure whether wearing a child would feel safe enough!
Is it okay to use a baby carrier for 12 months old babies?
The Baby K’tan carriers are designed for use from birth up until 35 lbs., and come in five different ergonomic positions: Kangaroo (for tiny babies), Hug (that snuggly feeling) Adventure Explore Hip – where you can hold onto both ends of the carrier like a backpack!
The best review baby carrier for newborn Baby K’tan
Hey everyone. It’s Lisa from the blog FarmhouseOnBoone, and today, I’m going to show you how to wrap a baby in the Baby K’tan wrap.
If you watch my channel much, you know I have a little one who is always in a wrap. This is because he doesn’t like to be put down ever, which is normal of all newborns, so if you have a newborn, you know this. I’ll explain more about the Baby K’tan shortly.
First, I just wanna show you how to do it. So, it comes with two loops of fabric that are joined together by a tiny loop, right? So, you just take this part and put it on like a necklace. Then, you put your arms through each loop.
Now, you’re going to want to be sure that the loop that was holding the two loops together is high on your back. If it’s too low, won’t be as comfortable. I also like to just make sure that it’s spread out nicely, and not super bunched up. Alright, now, I’m going to go grab my baby.
So now, you basically have two panels. This will be what supports the baby. So, I’m going to put the right panel, which is underneath, I’m going to put his leg through that part first. I have a tired baby.
You just stretch it out over his bottom. Then, I’m going to take the panel. That’ll be on top, input it, and spread it out under his bottom. Now that everything’s all spread out. I’m going to tuck his little head in ’cause he’s tired. Shh, now, he’s plenty supported right now, but there is a third level of support.
So, the Baby K’tan comes with this long sash. I’m just going to take it and find the center, which is pretty easy on a wrap like this. It’s just where the Baby K’tan tag is. Put it over the center of him, and then just tie it tightly.
Now, you can bring it back around the front and tie it, or you can just tie it in the back, whatever is most comfortable for you. The wrap I’m using today is the extra small size.
Now with the Baby K’tan, it isn’t one size fits all like a Moby, or a Solly, or the Boba because it is already basically pre-wrapped for you except for the third panel, so this extra small size works great for Daniel.
Currently, he’s two months old, but I can see that it will definitely have to be upgraded at some point to a larger size. Now, I go more in-depth on this and all of the features of different baby-wearing wraps in my wraps comparison videos.
I’ll leave a link in the description below, and up in the cards for that video, but I go into woven wraps, my ties, Moby’s, Boba, Solly’s, all the different reps that I’ve tried, what I like, what I don’t like about them. Spoiler alert, the Baby K’tan is not my favorite, but it is still totally great. If this was all that I had, this would work.
I would still wear Daniel all the time. He’s super secure. I can go about my chores, my day, and he is nice and cozy, and as you can see, falls asleep instantly, so it does definitely work. Now, another advantage of the K’tan is it is way less fabric, so it’s a lot lighter, and if you feel like the knit wraps are just this huge amount of fabric, and you don’t really know how to do it, it’s great for that.
Also, whenever I’m getting out of the car, and we’re trying to go somewhere, when I’m wrapping the long knit wraps, I find that they have to pool on the ground, whether it’s muddy or wet. They just cannot be done without that. This one can, so that’s one more advantage of this type of style.
I like the freedom and flexibility of wrapping the wrap myself, as opposed to this more, almost pre-wrapped version. Now, if you feel like you’ve never been able to properly do the long knit wraps, this might be a good option for you because it does take out that first part that might feel a little bit like origami if you’re not used to it. This does get rid of that step. It’s basically like putting on a shirt, and a lot of people really appreciate that.

In my point of view of course it can as well as the guidelines that include the provider reveal you how to place a baby to sustain the head. Can you nurse in Baby K’tan carrier?
Indeed there are Lights when there is noise. I have actually the monitor set to just activate when there is noise. So the display screen is black till the sound activates it and afterwards the full-screen shows. You can just set one video camera to discover the noise however, not both.
