The best review baby swings Fisher-Price
Hello and welcome. Some of you might wonder why intonation am I reviewing something like this Snug-a-Puppy? Well, simply put. I just recently got an offspring of my own. Now I can with a straight face use phrases like, who’s your daddy?
When you have a little one, it’s very tempting to buy a ton of potentially useless gadgets and contraptions. Let’s see if the Snug-a-Puppy is a must-have or a waste of space. First, here’s what you get in the box. Assembling is pretty simple and takes less than half an hour, even if you go at a leisurely pace.
The manual is easy to follow, the material quality good, and the construction sufficiently solid. Once put together, the swing is about 104 centimeters wide, 90 centimeters deep, and 112 centimeters tall. The maximum supported baby weight is about 11 kilos, or 25 pounds for those of you stuck on an archaic measurement system.
Also, the swing is electrically powered, so tough luck if you’re a steampunk of Channel. You also have the option to run off the grid on four, 1.5-volt D-type batteries, which seems to be a bit about useless inclusion, as they get depleted in mere minutes.
There are no up and down rocking or shaking options. You get some nice swinging action. The seat can rotate, baby facing forward or sideways. The main mortar is very quiet. What can potentially make the most noise, baby excluded obviously is actually the stand. So take the time to position it well, or you’ll get some grunting metal. Some toys come included on the rotating platform.
You can easily add more or substitute them for whatever else you prefer. If for whatever crazy reason you decide to hang on them, make sure all loose parts are well glued and out of reach. As you know, kids and tiny plastic pieces do not play well together.
Time to make this more interesting with some exploitation of child labor. Make sure to secure your baby. The included safety harness is simple but efficient. However, there is no way to detach the harness from the seat. Hence, if you’re darling little one creates a sheet explosion while enjoying the swing, it might be difficult to complete the remove the aftermath, and the straps will forever turn from snowy white to a delicious creamy yellow.
Let’s have a look at the control panel. Settings for the swinging speed and the length of the arc are tied together and not separately available. Okay, let’s be frank. There is no actual amplitude control and the difference is purely a result of the speed. Toy rotation can be turned on and off, and as you’d expect there’s the volume control.
The available melodies are categorized into night and day, and you have a nature sounds option as well. Double-tapping day and night cycles the melodies. If you want to skip a particular one, the nature of sounds, unfortunately, only features a single track.
One thing missing is a white noise option, something you’d think would have been a no-brainer to include. A sad oversight that easily and for practically no cost would have added even more functionality and value to this feature-packed swing. In the end, the Snug-a-Puppy is a great product, especially considering it often goes on sale for about 100 bucks.
If you’re in the market for a swing and on a small budget, this one should be among your top choices. Of course, there is no guarantee that your offspring will actually like it. From what I gathered though, most babies will be quite happy with the Snug-a-Puppy, and you’ll extract at least an extra half an hour of piece per day. For most parents, that’s priceless.
It’s soft, cuddly, and also oh so relaxing – your infant will enjoy snuggling right into the Fisher-Price Sweet Snugapuppy Dreams Cradle ‘n Swing;

And also, the plug-in choice saves money on batteries, so children can kick back, swing, and also play in calming convenience.

Security & Happiness:

If the swing is too rapid attempt a reduced rate setting, if the reduced setup gives excessive moving motion for the kid, attempt putting one end of a blanket underneath the youngster and also let the various other ends

Can I fold this swing easily, so if needed I can move this from one room to another?
Answer: It is very lightweight, but would be a bit awkward to move from room to room. Also depends on how much space you are working with, as the base is pretty wide.

The Best Review 4moms mamaRoo 4
Hi, guys, welcome back to my channel. In today’s video, I’m going to be reviewing the 4moms mamaRoo Swing. This swing retails for 330 Canadian dollars.
So it is on the high end of the swing market. When we were thinking about buying this swing I was looking online at some of the reviews that are there, and they either were super old or they were actually made by companies that are selling the swing.
Since I’m actually using the swing I wanna let you know what I actually think about it so far, and if I think it’s worth the money. For some background, my older son was absolutely crazy for swings. The swing that my older son had was a Fisher-Price swing. I never had to force my older son to like his swing, it was just something that came very naturally.
We would put him down on his swing and he would be wide awake, and within about five minutes or so, he would be completely knocked out. So when we were pregnant I knew that I really wanted to buy a swing for our new baby because it was something that was so important the first time around. It’s safe to say, we are a swing family. The seat of this swing is completely adjustable. So you just flip this switch and you can move the position up and down to whatever position your baby prefers. For moms online who have babies with acid reflux, I’ve heard they like to keep the swing seated upright. So that’s an option if you need it.
The swing has a buckle, although I find the position of the buckle a little bit awkward, or maybe my son is just in an in-between stage where it’s not hitting at the right height. This swing has a mobile that hangs up above the swing. One side of the balls are black and white and the other side is colored. So you have the option to reverse them if you’d like.
Most research says that babies can’t see in color when they’re first born, so when my son was a newborn he would look up at the black and white balls. Now that my son is four months old, we reversed the balls to the colored side, and he likes it just as much. You can swivel the mobile that hangs up above the swing to the right or the left. I feel like if my son gets a good grip on this mobile at some point, it’s gonna really bend. The swing comes with so many different emotions.
There’s a kangaroo, there’s car ride, there’s tree swing. My son prefers the car ride motion. This swing also comes with a mobile app so you can change all of these things remotely. Although I’ve never really used this feature, and I don’t know how useful this is. I can’t see myself whipping out my phone to change the settings of a swing. The swing comes at five different speeds. Usually, we go three and above for my son, but you do have the option for speeds one through five. To change the setting you press down on the middle button and to change the speed of the swing you press the arrows up and down, which changes how fast the swing is swinging.
Also, you can change the sounds that the swing is playing, you press down on the sound button and that’ll turn it on. For the sounds, you can change the volume up and down. And it has a variety of different sounds like rain and heartbeat which are really nice white noises for your baby. I’ll start with some of the things that we absolutely love about this swing. First of all, we absolutely love the fact that it plugs in.
With the Fisher-Price swing, we had to constantly buy these massive D batteries. And we had to change them every two weeks because we went through them so much and he was on the swing so much. So the fact that this swing actually plugs into the wall is a huge benefit. We were always petrified of being in the house and not having the batteries on hand. We absolutely love the look and the design of this swing. It’s just so modern looking. Most other swings are kind of an eyesore in your house.
This one really stands out for its very sleek and modern design. In my opinion, another pro for this swing is the fact that it comes with such a variety of sounds. Most swings come with a really, I don’t wanna say annoying but I guess it’s an annoying lullaby. This one comes with a variety of different white noises, which we have playing in my baby’s room anyway. For continuity, it’s something that’s really great.
Another benefit that’s kind of weird but I’ve really been enjoying, is the fact that I can turn the swing on and off with my big toe. And I know that sounds really bizarre, but when you have a baby in your hand, you don’t wanna bend over completely to press that power button. So you can just put your toe on the power button and turn it on and off without bending or straining your back. Because the swing is so sleek and small compared to other swings, it’s not awkward at all to carry around and move it room to room, it’s pretty portable. I remember with my older son’s swing, especially lifting it up and down on the stairs was a huge hassle, and it was really awkward to do.
Because there aren’t any swinging parts that’ll come and hit you if you’re carrying it, it’s absolutely perfect. Another thing I love about this swing is the fact that it’s machine washable. Baby mishaps are bound to happen. They are bound to have a poop explosion or a pee leak or puke or something. The fact that you can zip the material off the swing, you just throw it in the wash is a massive advantage. For me, the number one con for this swing has got to be the price.
This swing is twice the price of any other swings in the market, which is a massive con for me. This swing is not really ready to go when you buy it for a newborn. For this baby swing, you have to buy a separate newborn insert which to me is a con because it’s not completely ready to go when you first buy it. This newborn insert ended up coming to about $50 Canadian, which is not cheap by any means, especially because you’re already paying about $330 or so for the swing already. So I’ll show you the newborn insert. It comes like this.
It’s reversible so you have a gray side on this site and then you have a multicolored side on this end. You can use this swing without the newborn insert but especially for a small newborn baby, it just doesn’t look very comfortable and they’re sort of hanging and sagging inside of the seat. The biggest con of all for me is the fact that my swing actually broke.
Within the first month or two of having the swing, the sound menu completely stopped working. And I reached out to them to get assistance. And I’m not able to get assistance from anybody, which is a massive downside. Yes, this swing does come with a warranty but it’s impossible to get service which is a massive con for me. This swing has an aux cord although Samsung and Apple, haven’t really made a device with a headphone jack for a long time, so I’m not sure what device you would plugin.
The option is there if you wanted to use it. It’s funny because a lot of the videos I saw online were moms recommending this swing. But any mom that I spoke to in my real life, they all said that the swing just didn’t work for them their baby hated it. I get the question a lot if I feel like this swing is worth the money and I would honestly say no. This swing on paper is absolutely perfect, you can tell they did all the research. It’s a very high tech swing, although my baby didn’t really like it.
I have to sort of force him to like the swing. In my house, this 4moms swing is a place to put my baby down so that he doesn’t get hurt or roll over and fall off of something. But it’s not somewhere that I would put my baby to soothe him and have him nod off to sleep, honestly. If you’re going to buy a swing, I would recommend the Fisher-Price swings or at least a swing that rocks back and forth or side to side. To me, this swing is the perfect example of if it’s not broken, don’t fix it. If you’re gonna spend money on your baby, there are many areas that you can splurge on, but I don’t think necessarily it has to be in this area.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with a $100 Fisher-Price swing because it works just as well. In my opinion, it might even work better. For some reason, I thought I would buy this 4moms swing and my baby would be the anomaly and he would absolutely love it. But of course, I wasn’t the anomaly.
My son doesn’t hate the swing but he definitely doesn’t find it soothing. If I put my son down on the swing when he’s sleeping, he’s completely awake and alert. Another pro for this swing is the fact that it has a big aftermarket. So once you’re done with the swing, you can go on to a buy-sell page or Kijiji and actually sell your swing. Bye, guys.

So the Graco swing was a great gift, gifted to me during my daughter’s baby shower. And the first thing I liked about it, actually what I loved about it, is I do not need batteries. So many of her electronics and toys need so many batteries so I’m just so excited not to have to buy another set of batteries for something else of hers.
However, if I didn’t wanna have to plug it into the wall so it can swing back and forth, I can use batteries, if choosing to. If I decide to take that route, I would need four double D batteries, I will place them right on top and it would be good to go. The second thing I like about it is that it vibrates here on the bottom. I can choose either more of a softer vibration or a more aggressive one and it has six different speeds to get her soothed and calm and put her into a good nap.
The different speeds are nice because as she’s getting bigger she needs the speed to pick up a little, just so that it can continue with her weight and keep going side to side in a nice smooth manner. But overall, it keeps up with her, it gets her in a nice rhythm and she falls right into a nice sleep. The last thing I liked about it is it has 15 different songs I could choose from and you can control the volume on top, either having it a little bit louder or lower for the baby.
There are three things that were not my favorite with this swing. The first thing was the cushion. I have a cute design, this one’s kites, but it is extremely form-fitting. So when I had to put it on, I had to pull and tug and actually get some help to really be able to snap all of the snaps on the bottom together. The second thing that wasn’t my favorite is the size of it.
It’s pretty big so when I wanna move it to a different room, I have to move furniture and because the bottom is so wide, it makes it really difficult to get through the doorways, so I had to maneuver it and get some help to try to tilt it to be able to fit it through a different door or on the other side of the house. The last thing was mobile. It doesn’t spin, it doesn’t do anything different, it just kinda sits there, so I wish if they were gonna put the mobile, it would have done something different to keep her entertained, especially now that she’s getting older.
She’s still small so she can’t reach to play with it so either has had the strings where they’re just a little bit lower for her entertainment or have given me some kind of toy that goes across to entertain her when she’s awake. So right now, when I see this, very cute, adorable, but it doesn’t do anything. So I wish this would have served a better purpose for her overall entertainment and joy of being in the swing.
Overall, I’ve enjoyed my experience with the Simple Sway Swing and my daughter does love it. The name does give it away, it is a simple swing. So if you’re looking for something with more features, more aggressive, Graco does have great other brands and other styles of swings that can be adventurous to you.
This one is more for a room that you’re gonna put it in and leave it in. If you’re looking to move it around, you might want to look at their different models and see if there’s one that’s a little bit easier for you to maneuver around the house and maybe has more features to keep the baby entertained.
But for me, it swings, my daughter falls asleep, stays asleep, gives her a nice noise, a nice swing, vibration, so as long as she’s falling asleep and she’s happy, it’s doing its job and I’m happy with it. I hope you liked this review if so, make sure to check the links below. I put a link down there so you can specifically find this swing and read a little bit more on it.
