Nanit Pro Review
I feel really positive about this video camera Nanit Pro first of all NO INCORRECT POSITIVES, of baby awakens I get an alert, same if he weeps, the app opens FAST, so I can just touch as well as BAM there it is, additionally terrific video clip top quality also in night vision mode, I additionally love the night recap, I can see the length of time baby stayed in the crib and how much he rested, the number of times you entered the bay area, the number of times baby ran out the crib.
In Nanit Pro can easy see baby breathing patterns on the application, I keep in mind the number of times I got up at night with the doubles asking myself if they were taking a breath, so this is a big plus also no medical tool attached to my baby just a band.
Nanit Pro additionally offers you age proper ideas for much better rest. What a blessing this cam has been, I can absolutely close my eyes and also sleep since I understand the electronic camera will warn me if the baby requires me. Having a peaceful sleep baby as well as Mama is invaluable! I highly suggest this baby video camera Nanit Pro!
Before I start this Nanit Pro baby monitor review. I have received a free unit to test for this Nanit Pro review, but let me be clear. The opinions expressed in this video are mine and mine alone and are in no way shape or form influenced by the kind and I’m guessing generous folks at Nanit.
Hey, this is John Father craft, where we review baby and kid gear and make online courses to make this whole parenting thing just a bit easier.
So in this Nanit Pro baby monitor review, I’m going to talk about the newest features of the pro model, how useful they are, and cover some areas that didn’t see any updates, but maybe kind of should have.
So let’s start off with a little Nanit Pro floor Mount on boxing within the box. You obviously get the camera now net it includes a free belly band wrap, which normally retails for about 20 bucks, and knows the Kardashians are not making tiny waist trainers for your baby though.
Uh, actually it doesn’t seem that far off, which is a bit depressing on its own, right? But that’s where a whole other video, right?
So there’s an attachment for the floor stand that you can mount to the wall to help the stand. You get the floor, sand bars with an attachment for a third leg, and the power brick, the floor stands also double as a cord management system as the power cord is built into the stand itself, which is a nice little additional safety feature.
One of the biggest updates from the older Nanit models, for instance, the nano plus is the camera now streams the video feed and 10 ADP compared to the nano pluses nine 60 resolution. Now, this is a fairly large update for Nanit as a few of its main competitors and the Wi-Fi® baby monitor space like the Cubo Ai plus, and the Miku pro has had this capability for a while now.
And as you can see, the clarity is much better compared to the pluses, especially when the night vision feed is active. And just a side note here, I’m currently testing the Miku pro and should have a full review of that monitor coming up soon.
And because of that, I’m going to kind of be dipping in and out of comparing the Nanit Pro to the Miku Pro. But again, that review should be available very soon. The florist stand is basically on the same floor. Stan is the original. Um, it can be set up as a tripod or you can remove one of the layers, which allows you to place a stand flush against your wall.
The main stimulus Stan also has these rubber pads, which help keep the stand in place. Now when comparing the Nanit floor, stand to the Cubo AI plus, or the Miku pro it’s definitely my favorite. It’s taller, uh, very sturdy, but also pretty easy to move around and more versatile than the other two with its removable leg. All right, so the other big new feature is found within the app, and that is the ability to measure and track your baby’s growth.
Now, as far as I know, this feature is an app update. So for those of you who currently own the Nana plus, you should still be able to use this feature so long as you have the Nanit Crip sheet, which you’ll have to purchase for an additional 35 bucks. Getting this feature up and running is pretty straightforward. The app, in my opinion, does a nice job of walking you through the setup steps.
However, in full disclosure, we don’t currently have a crib set up in our house. And even if I did, I’m highly doubtful, Calvin would have been a willing participant in the testing of this feature. So I had to settle for the next best thing. Calvin’s best friend hops. The first thing the app does is take a short video of your baby from the video. You’re asked to pick a still image that you’ll use to set the tracking points.
I’ll quickly note that you have to have a lot of light in order for this stage of the setup to work. So keep that in mind, as you’re going through this process, also similar to having to manually initiate the breathing monitoring feature, you have to manually set the tracking points each time you want to collect a measurement.
Now, as far as the usefulness of this feature, the jury’s still out for me, but the childless woman on team filer crafting is the baby monitor that measures your baby and tracks through growth in an app. It’s just one more thing.
The parenting industrial complex wants you to obsess and stress about it. So take that for what it’s worth. And again, I wasn’t able to extensively test this feature. So in the long-term, I can’t tell you how accurate the measurements will be, but it’s there if you need it.
Um, however, you’re, you’re only out 35 bucks in a Crip sheet. If you decide, um, that feature is really not worth using all that often now the coaching of the Nanit Pro insights feature is where the money’s at.
In my opinion, this feature is powered by something called computer vision, which constantly analyzes your baby’s sleep habits and patterns as it gathers and analyzes more and more data, you’ll start to get customized feedback, detailing ways you can try and improve the quality of your baby’s sleep. It’s almost like having a personal sleep coach at your fingertips.
And it’s unique within the Wi-Fi® baby monitor world, right?
Since we mentioned the insights feature, let’s go ahead and expound on that. So the Nanit Pro insights package is not new to Nanit, but every time I revisit the functionality of this feature, I forget how amazing it is. I simply put it’s an in-app sleep coach that analyzes your baby’s sleep habits and patterns and provides customized feedback on how to ensure your baby is getting the best night’s sleep possible.
Now, for me, this helps take a lot of the guesswork out of why your baby may be struggling to sleep through the night. What the insights package, you get access to sleep history, which includes stats around how long your baby slept. How many times you visited the crib at night, how many times your baby woke up as well as short video clips of any movement or sound activity that happens at night. It also tracks movement in the form of a heat map. And I love myself a good heat map.
Basically, this just shows you where the baby moved in the crypt throughout the night, simple but useful. Then Anipro can also monitor your baby’s breathing, but there is some overhead involved.
First, you have to use one to manage customized sleep or options in order for the function to work. Now, this is because of the sleep where is designed with unique patterns that the monitor tracks in order to actually monitor breathing rates.
Second, you have to manually initiate the breathing monitoring within the app by locking onto the printing of the pattern on the sleepwear.
The one thing I didn’t realize until quite recently is that you have to have a Nanit insights package in order to utilize the breathing monitoring feature. Again, for comparison, the Miku pro will monitor breathing automatically and without the use of any wearable. So it’s much more user-friendly in my opinion, and this breathing monitor feature comes for free.
Now there’s no denying the Nanit Pro is fairly pricey, but it’s a bit nuanced. So let me attempt to explain the different pricing options available. Just a quick note here. If you’re watching this video, uh, before Mother’s Day of 2021, then you should know that Nana is running a sale on their site to celebrate Mother’s Day. So they’re offering the Nanit Pro for a hundred dollars off.
So if you want the Walmart version, that’s 199 bucks, or if you want the floor stand version, that’s 279 bucks. So like I said, a hundred dollars off each one of those options, which is a big-time sale. So if you’re interested, go ahead and check that out.
Now, whether you go with the wall mount version, which is 300 bucks, or the floor stand version, which starts at 380 bucks, you’ll get a free year of the basic insights package, which gives you access to two days’ worth of historical data. After the first year, the basic package is priced at 50 bucks a year or $5 a month.
And then the next year you can opt into the premium package, which extends access to historical sleep data to 30 days, but will cost you either a hundred bucks a year or 10 bucks a month.
Now their highest tiers, the unlimited package, and as the name implies, provides unlimited historical sleep data, 300 bucks a year or 30 bucks a month. And remember, in order to use the breathing monitoring function, you have to use, Nana’s proprietary, sleepwear, the belly band, a swaddle sleeping bag or pajamas, and I’ll have links to all of them.
Then it’s sleepwear plus, uh, the, uh, camera itself in the Miku and any other baby monitor that we mentioned in this video, um, there’ll be links to those, uh, sites in our description below. And just a quick note, those links are affiliate links.
Now, this is not a sponsorship or an endorsement. Um, it’s more like we’re working for these people in order to get that little kickback, but again helps us out of time at no additional cost to you. Uh, so we would appreciate you using them.
So is this monitor right for you?
Honestly, it boils down to understanding what you find most important in a baby monitor fact is that the Nanit Pro offers some extremely useful features, but they come at a higher cost. Also got to think about how often and for how long you’re going to use some of these features. So for instance, the breathing monitoring and the measurements tracking, um, they have limited lifespans.
So once your baby outgrows Nanit sleepwear and or her crib, these features become obsolete. And as a parent of kids in this category, I really wanted to see some updates to features that I still use every day.
So for instance, the white noise options are still quite limited, especially compared to Miku Spotify’s escalate list of choices. I also rely heavily on movement alerts as Calvin’s a big fan of escaping his room at all hours of the night. So if I’m sleeping and he triggers a motion alert, I only get a single alert on my phone, and 10 times out of 10, I’m not going to hear it.
So it would be great to have some sort of continuous alert that I have to actually turn off when those events happen. Plus, it would be great if I could schedule when these alerts are triggered, meaning I could set these alerts to be active during Calvin’s sleeping periods.
Um, again, which Nanit already tracks, uh, and not during the day when Ernie is constantly going in. Yeah. Out of Calvin’s room, looking for snacks. Now again, Ernie is our, uh, rambunctious little Goldendoodle who, um, has become best friends with Calvin and they actually sleep together at night and it’s the most adorable thing ever.
And, uh, you know, I tear up when I think about how cute it is, but anyway, uh, hopefully, a future app update can include some of these enhancements that would benefit parents with kids. All right, folks, thanks for watching.

The stand feet are unable to slide below so we have to place it at the “foot” of the crib as well as utilize the zoom function to see our youngster. Not a big deal in the grand plan of points. Just something to prepare for.

Plus, our advanced night vision ensures you can keep an eye on your little one even in the dark. And if you have more than one child, our multi-streaming feature lets you watch them all at once. So relax and take a break – the Lollipop baby camera has got you covered.
What’re good folks? D Anthony here from the dad fog today, we’re gonna talk about a baby monitor, but not just any baby monitor a monitor that incredibly resembles a Lollipop.
The good folks over at Lollipop sent this over for me to take a look at it. And boy, did I take a look at it? It’s my wow.
Lollipop cons: All right.
Before we get started, I know we were supposed to be working on this consistency thing. It was supposed to be a video, you know, every week I think behind like one, but I have a good reason why I’ve been working on something.
We have a clothing line called create dope humans, and now these shirts are available to toddlers, youth, and infants picking up one of these shirts is a great way to support the channel. And if you’re into that kind of thing, just go ahead, click the link and the description without first there do baby monitors have come a long way since the first one in 1937.
And this one here that we’re looking at is pretty sleek. And I’m very excited to show it to you guys. Now, our four-month-old Aaliyah is no longer sleeping in our bed and she is now in her crib far, far, far away.
We still need visibility to her, which is why this baby monitor comes into play. Now, when it comes to baby monitors, here is what is important to me, safety and privacy, convenience and ease of use useful features.
Lollipop Cons: price
The biggest thing I worry about when it comes to any Wi-Fi monitor is has the company has taken the correct precautions to prevent unauthorized usage and access to my baby monitor privacy mode on the Lollipop gives access only to people who are connected to your Wi-Fi network, reducing the risk of an outsider, accessing the monitor. That is a good thing. I’ve seen countless stories of monitors being hacked too easily.
So this big deal really big deal from me. Privacy mode is for anybody who is connected to your network, but if you’re anything like me and you like to take late night strolls around the neighborhood, by yourself, you’re clearly away from your Wi-Fi network.
In that sense, there’s an option for you to cut that privacy mode off and you can still have access while you are away out to dinner.
Babysitter comes through long on the lonely, through the lonely neighborhood. Something like that. Another feature that is good as soon as somebody else accesses your Lollipop.
As soon as somebody else accesses your Lollipop, you get a notification.
So in the event that something happens, you will get a notification that says this person has just now connected to your Lollipop. Let’s look at features. The packaging here is incredibly sleek. I do enjoy the branding efforts here. Now you can get this in a few different colors. They have pink and they also have teal. I think it’ll be good if they had a larger range of colors, just, you know, to kinda keep it. But I think it’s part of their branding and their, their marketing strategy.
They’re only sticking with a couple of colors. We went with the teal because it matches the little flowers that Rachel put on the wall. What comes in the package is you get some screws, some mounting screws, and you get this right here. This is actually a branch.
You can put it in there, like so, and mounted to the wall. I actually thought this was an antler thought. This was a dear antler. I was like, why, why would they give me an antler? And they only gave me one at that.
Definitely not an antler, definitely is a branch for wall decor design. Now the cool thing about some of the features on here is you can take pictures in real- time and store them to your library right there on the Lollipop. Now, while you can take pictures, I haven’t found the way to be able to take video and maybe something that they offer in their, their upsell of Lollipop care, but on this free version, just day today, I haven’t been able to figure out how to record video
Now, if you have a Google home or some kind of screen with a virtual assistant, you can connect your Wi-Fi baby monitor to these displays on the website.
It says that it is compatible with Google home, but I have not been able to connect my, um, my Lollipop to Google home. It just, it just doesn’t work. There’s no dropdown for it. I went through it about 17 times. It, you can’t connect it.
And that, that kind of sucks because in the middle of the night, you know, something happens. You have to kind of go through the phone and open it. And there’s no just external monitor for you to just kind of rollover, press a quick button and look at like some other non-Wi-Fi related monitors.
The image is very crisp on the Lollipop. I like the way that it looks on my phone. It is broadcast in 1080 P. But the thing that I just don’t really care for is I can’t rotate the camera at all. So I have to put the camera in a very specific location.
I have to be comfortable with that location. There’s no looking around the room or anything like just baby, baby, baby. That’s it. Now, if you like, you can bend your Lollipop and sit it may be on the table or on a nightstand next to your crib. It has what is most likely a wire on the inside of this silicone exterior that’s bendable that allows you to place the baby monitor on a table or a stand mounting is pretty easy.
Soon as you open up the app, there are three different ways that you can Mount your Lollipop. Now we put ours right on the crib directly facing kind of diagonally downward, but you can just as easily Mount it on the, uh, antler or the branch.
If you like, you can set the monitor up to notify you. If the room gets over a certain DPS. So if the room gets too loud, you get a notification on your phone that, that there is an increase or uptake noise. That uptake is most likely your baby crying. Now, if your child is the one that needs music to go to sleep, there are some options on there that you can use. Noark chopping a hairdryer, a vacuum sea wave, some water. And if the baby is still in the womb, a hairdryer, she doesn’t care about a hairdryer.
All right, when it comes to cost, you’re looking at about $150 for your very own Lollipop, baby monitor. In my opinion, it’s a very competitive price considering everything that it does. And when you look in the baby Wi-Fi market, even regular Wi-Fi camera markets, it’s on parts about that. The additional thing that they add is their Lollipop care.
Now that ranges from $29, all the way up to $200 per year, you get a few extra features like the ability to record continuously for 24 hours. Now, I think the basic version is just fine and it’s worked for us pretty well.
So depending on your style, there may or may not be a need to actually add on this Lollipop care. So that’s it guys. That’s all I got for you guys today. I hope you guys enjoyed this. Um, very cool. Looking looks like an eye. That’s it for me today. I hope you guys enjoyed the product review for the Lollipop, baby monitor.
Lollipop Smart Wi-Fi® baby camera FAQ
You can give someone access to limited hours during the day?
I think that’s a great idea! They just need the login info, and I keep one phone logged into my account so we don’t have any problems with swapping phones or forgetting who was supposed to watch which kids at what time.
Will this monitor work if our home Wi-Fi crashes?
The monitor is a WI-FI-based baby camera and the live feed through Lollipop. However, if your home Wi-Fi crashes then this will not work because there’s no way to get internet access on its own!
But luckily for you we have Network Diagnosis which helps diagnose networks so that might be helpful in setting up an environment where parents can view their babies easily without having any problems viewing them via smartphone app or computer screencast when they’re away from home
I am getting push alerts for normal air quality about 5 times in an hour. How do I prevent this from happening?

The best review of a baby monitor Nooie with Wi-Fi® camera
Hey everybody, and welcome back. Today is a great day, because I get to review the new Nooie Cam 360. It’s no secret that I love newer security cameras. They’re just fun to play with, they’re fun to experiment with. But first things first, it comes in a very nice minimal package, pretty lightweight, but you’re not here to see the box, so let’s see what’s inside.
The box contains the following: screws for the mount, instructions, the mount itself, a power cable, and lastly, the Cam 360 itself, along with a power adapter. Now the camera itself is pretty dope. The plastic casing feels light and durable but strong, so it can take a beating if you drop it.
Overall, looking at the camera, I mean, the lens has a nice little sticker on it, which is a nice touch, nice little logo. It has a microphone right beneath the lens. There’s a status light in the front. You can see that there’s a speaker on the side. Right here is a micro USB and a reset button. And on the bottom, you can see that this goes on the wall mount. Now I’m interested in the main features, and not the overall setup. I can tell you the setup itself, from installing the app to your device to set it up is super simple.
Just follow the instructions and prompts, create your login credentials like you normally would, and finally, scan the QR code with the camera and you’re all done. Now let’s check out the key features, and the things that excite me the most. The first thing you’ll obviously notice is the 360-degree pan and tilt. It’s in the name, so what does it look like, and how does it work?
Well, all you need to do, when you’re looking at your phone, is start swiping up, down, left, and right, and the camera itself will adjust to your swipes.
Now the 360’s an amazing touch, but what impressed me the most about this feature was just the quality of video that it produced. A lotta times security cameras, when it moves, there might be some pixelation, there might just be a lotta jerks, and you can’t really tell what you’re looking at. The overall 1080p was very smooth, very impressed.
And as you can see in this example, this is a 1080p recording of me testing the motion tracking. You can tell it’s pretty clear, and yeah, it tracks you pretty well. Now, being a father of three, having three little boys that just go all over the place, I love being able to keep an eye on them. So I want to know when they’re trying to escape or trying to leave the house, or if someone’s trying to get in or dropping of a package or whatever.
So motion and sound detection is a must, and I am very impressed with the response time. You just go into the app, choose a day, choose a time that you want it to be on, and then, if there’s any motion or if there’s any sound, then it will pick it up and send a notification straight to your device, and then you can watch whatever the notification is.
The night vision is pretty good, too. This is great if you plan on using it for outside security or keeping an eye on your sleeping child. A lotta these cameras nowadays have night vision.
Some, the whites are so bright and there’s not great contrast, but with this one, you can see details pretty good, so I’m actually pretty impressed with the infrared. Now let’s just go ahead and check out the two-way audio, ’cause that’s something else that’s important if you wanna talk to your kids or if you wanna leave a note for maybe someone dropping off a package, and you can yell at them when they drop it super hard.
Whatever two-way audio is important, so let’s check that out. Hey, how’s it going?
This is an audio test for the Nooie Cam 360. Awesome, it was pretty clear. I do sound like I’m ordering food from a restaurant, a drive-thru, but, I mean, it actually sounds pretty clear, and it’s not gonna cut in and out or have that distortion that you might have in some audio, but I’m very impressed.
Lastly, the thing that I’ll highlight is storage. I’m pretty impressed with the storage, I know I said I’m pretty impressed with lotta things, but, I mean, these features are pretty awesome for the price point of the camera itself. Other cameras, you’re paying, like, what, 200, $300 for.
This one’s pretty cheap for every feature that you’re getting. So you can record on the app, and it will store in your phone’s photo album, so in your phone’s storage or your device’s storage. You can record locally on an SD card, and you can also set up an account, meaning you can subscribe for secure cloud storage.
Now they’re using Amazon Web Services, which is pretty impressive, and to get 24/7 cloud video recording, it’s only gonna be $5 a month, which is cool, ’cause, I mean, there’s other security cameras that I’ve tried, and it’s pretty expensive to actually get that, or you get just blips of a recording into the cloud.
But to have 24/7 is pretty awesome, and it’s pretty cheap. So if you consider the other companies and you consider what the other offerings are out there, and you compare it to what Nooie 360 Cam is actually providing, man, five stars from me. I really enjoy this camera. So hope this helps you in your purchasing decisions or in your overall security camera search.

How Wi-Fi® baby monitors work?
As baby monitors have evolved, many brands now offer Wi-Fi® connectivity. Wi-Fi® baby monitors allow you to connect your camera directly to your home wireless network so that you can access live video from any computer or smartphone with an Internet connection anywhere in the world!
Can Wi-Fi® cause interference in baby monitors which use wireless frequencies like Bluetooth®, radio, etc.?
Some baby monitors using wireless frequencies, like radio or Bluetooth®, can interfere with Wi-Fi® baby monitor signals if placed too close to the device. Make sure to keep your baby monitor at least three feet away from other devices transmitting on similar frequencies.
How many walls or floors will interfere with transmission strength as well as how outside interference exists such as microwaves, other baby monitors using radio frequencies or Bluetooth®, etc.?
Baby monitors with Wi-Fi® baby monitor signals can be affected by walls or floors. In general, you will lose about 50% of signal strength for every wall the baby camera is behind and 25% for each floor between the baby camera and parent device, but this may vary depending on your home layout. If you live in a multi-level house or have a large property that might interfere with baby monitor transmission, choose a baby monitor transmitting radio frequencies instead so it doesn’t matter how many obstacles are placed between the baby’s room and yourself!
Are there any baby safety concerns using Wi-Fi® baby monitors?
The biggest concern with Wi-Fi® baby monitoring is security; if a hacker were to gain access to your baby’s camera feed while at work or on vacation this could be catastrophic. Make sure you change the default password for maximum security so strangers cannot have access without permission!
