The best review Nanit Pro baby monitor with Wi-Fi®
I feel really positive about this video camera Nanit Pro first of all NO INCORRECT POSITIVES, of baby awakens I get an alert, same if he weeps, the app opens FAST, so I can just touch as well as BAM there it is, additionally terrific video clip top quality also in night vision mode, I additionally love the night recap, I can see the length of time baby stayed in the crib and how much he rested, the number of times you entered the baby area, the number of times baby ran out the crib.
In Nanit Pro can easy see baby breathing patterns on the application, I keep in mind the number of times I got up at night with the doubles asking yourself if they were taking a breath, so this is a big plus also no medical tool attached to my baby just a band.
Nanit Pro additionally offers you age proper ideas for much better rest. What a blessing this cam has been, I can absolutely close my eyes and also sleep since I understand the electronic camera will warn me if the baby requires me. Having peaceful sleep baby as well as Mama is invaluable! I highly suggest this baby video camera Nanit Pro!
Before I start this Nanit Pro baby monitor review. I have received a free unit to test for this Nanit Pro review, but let me be clear. The opinions expressed in this video are mine and mine alone and are in no way shape or form influenced by the kind and I’m guessing generous folks at Nanit.
Hey, this is John Father craft, where we review baby and kid gear and make online courses to make this whole parenting thing just a bit easier.
So in this Nanit Pro baby monitor review, I’m going to talk about the newest features of the pro model, how useful they are, and cover some areas that didn’t see any updates, but maybe kind of should have.
So let’s start off with a little Nanit Pro floor Mount on boxing within the box. You obviously get the camera now net it includes a free belly band wrap, which normally retails for about 20 bucks, and knows the Kardashians are not making tiny waist trainers for your baby though.
Uh, actually it doesn’t seem that far off, which is a bit depressing on its own, right? But that’s where a whole other video, right?
So there’s an attachment for the floor stand that you can mount to the wall to help the stand. You get the floor, sand bars with an attachment for a third leg, and the power brick, the floor stands also doubles as a cord management system as the power cord is built into the stand itself, which is a nice little additional safety feature.
One of the biggest updates from the older Nanit models, for instance, the nano plus is the camera now streams the video feed and 10 ADP compared to the nano pluses nine 60 resolution. Now, this is a fairly large update for Nanit as a few of its main competitors and the Wi-Fi® baby monitor space like the Cubo Ai plus, and the Miku pro has had this capability for a while now.
And as you can see, the clarity is much better compared to the pluses, especially when the night vision feed is active. And just a side note here, I’m currently testing the Miku pro and should have a full review of that monitor coming up soon.
And because of that, I’m going to kind of be dipping in and out of comparing the Nanit Pro to the Miku Pro. But again, that review should be available very soon. The florist stand is basically on the same floor. Stan is the original. Um, it can be set up as a tripod or you can remove one of the layers, which allows you to place a stand flush against your wall.
The main stimulus Stan also has these rubber pads, which help keep the stand in place. Now when comparing the Nanit floor, stand to the Cubo AI plus, or the Miku pro it’s definitely my favorite. It’s taller, uh, very sturdy, but also pretty easy to move around and more versatile than the other two with its removable leg. All right, so the other big new feature is found within the app, and that is the ability to measure and track your baby’s growth.
Now, as far as I know, this feature is an app update. So for those of you who currently own the Nana plus, you should still be able to use this feature so long as you have the Nanit Crip sheet, which you’ll have to purchase for an additional 35 bucks. Getting this feature up and running is pretty straightforward. The app, in my opinion, does a nice job of walking you through the setup steps.
However, in full disclosure, we don’t currently have a crib set up in our house. And even if I did, I’m highly doubtful, Calvin would have been a willing participant in the testing of this feature. So I had to settle for the next best thing. Calvin’s best friend hops. The first thing the app does is take a short video of your baby from the video. You’re asked to pick a still image that you’ll use to set the tracking points.
I’ll quickly note that you have to have a lot of light in order for this stage of the setup to work. So keep that in mind, as you’re going through this process, also similar to having to manually initiate the breathing monitoring feature, you have to manually set the tracking points each time you want to collect a measurement.
Now, as far as the usefulness of this feature, the jury’s still out for me, but the childless woman on team filer crafting is the baby monitor that measures your baby and tracks through growth in an app. It’s just one more thing.
The parenting industrial complex wants you to obsess and stress about. So take that for what it’s worth. And again, I wasn’t able to extensively test this feature. So in the long-term, I can’t tell you how accurate the measurements will be, but it’s there if you need it.
Um, however, you’re, you’re only out 35 bucks in a Crip sheet. If you decide, um, that feature is really not worth using all that often now the coaching of the Nanit Pro insights feature is where the money’s at.
In my opinion, this feature is powered by something called computer vision, which constantly analyzes your baby’s sleep habits and patterns as it gathers and analyzes more and more data, you’ll start to get customized feedback, detailing ways you can try and improve the quality of your baby’s sleep. It’s almost like having a personal sleep coach at your fingertips.
And it’s unique within the Wi-Fi® baby monitor world, right?
Since we mentioned the insights feature, let’s go ahead and expound on that. So the Nanit Pro insights package is not new to Nanit, but every time I revisit the functionality of this feature, I forget how amazing it is. I simply put it’s an in-app sleep coach that analyzes your baby’s sleep habits and patterns and provides customized feedback on how to ensure your baby is getting the best night’s sleep possible.
Now, for me, this helps take a lot of the guesswork out of why your baby may be struggling to sleep through the night. What the insights package, you get access to sleep history, which includes stats around how long your baby slept. How many times you visited the crib at night, how many times your baby woke up as well as short video clips of any movement or sound activity that happens at night. It also tracks movement in the form of a heat map. And I love myself a good heat map.
Basically, this just shows you where the baby moved in the crypt throughout the night, simple but useful. Then Anipro can also monitor your baby’s breathing, but there is some overhead involved.
First, you have to use one to manage customized sleep or options in order for the function to work. Now, this is because of the sleep where is designed with unique patterns that the monitor tracks in order to actually monitor breathing rates.
Second, you have to manually initiate the breathing monitoring within the app by locking onto the printing of the pattern on the sleepwear.
The one thing I didn’t realize until quite recently is that you have to have a Nanit insights package in order to utilize the breathing monitoring feature. Again, for comparison, the Miku pro will monitor breathing automatically and without the use of any wearable. So it’s much more user-friendly in my opinion, and this breathing monitor feature comes for free.
Now there’s no denying the Nanit Pro is fairly pricey, but it’s a bit nuanced. So let me attempt to explain the different pricing options available. Just a quick note here. If you’re watching this video, uh, before Mother’s Day of 2021, then you should know that Nana is running a sale on their site to celebrate Mother’s Day. So they’re offering the Nanit Pro for a hundred dollars off.
So if you want the Walmart version, that’s 199 bucks, or if you want the floor stand version, that’s 279 bucks. So like I said, a hundred dollars off each one of those options, which is a big-time sale. So if you’re interested, go ahead and check that out.
Now, whether you go with the wall mount version, which is 300 bucks, or the floor stand version, which starts at 380 bucks, you’ll get a free year of the basic insights package, which gives you access to two days’ worth of historical data. After the first year, the basic package is priced at 50 bucks a year or $5 a month.
And then the next year you can opt into the premium package, which extends access to historical sleep data to 30 days, but will cost you either a hundred bucks a year or 10 bucks a month.
Now their highest tiers, the unlimited package, and as the name implies, provides unlimited historical sleep data, 300 bucks a year or 30 bucks a month. And remember, in order to use the breathing monitoring function, you have to use, Nana’s proprietary, sleepwear, the belly band, a swaddle sleeping bag or pajamas, and I’ll have links to all of them.
Then it’s sleepwear plus, uh, the, uh, camera itself in the Miku and any other baby monitor that we mentioned in this video, um, there’ll be links to those, uh, sites in our description below. And just a quick note, those links are affiliate links.
Now, this is not a sponsorship or an endorsement. Um, it’s more like we’re working for these people in order to get that little kickback, but again helps us out of time at no additional cost to you. Uh, so we would appreciate you using them.
So is this monitor right for you?
Honestly, it boils down to understanding what you find most important in a baby monitor fact is that the Nanit Pro offers some extremely useful features, but they come at a higher cost. Also got to think about how often and for how long you’re going to use some of these features. So for instance, the breathing monitoring and the measurements tracking, um, they have limited lifespans.
So once your baby outgrows Nanit sleepwear and or her crib, these features become obsolete. And as a parent of kids in this category, I really wanted to see some updates to features that I still use every day.
So for instance, the white noise options are still quite limited, especially compared to Miku Spotify’s escalate list of choices. I also rely heavily on movement alerts as Calvin’s a big fan of escaping his room at all hours of the night. So if I’m sleeping and he triggers a motion alert, I only get a single alert on my phone, and 10 times out of 10, I’m not going to hear it.
So it would be great to have some sort of continuous alert that I have to actually turn off when those events happen. Plus, it would be great if I could schedule when these alerts are triggered, meaning I could set these alerts to be active during Calvin’s sleeping periods.
Um, again, which Nanit already tracks, uh, and not during the day when Ernie is constantly going in. Yeah. Out of Calvin’s room, looking for snacks. Now again, Ernie is our, uh, rambunctious little Goldendoodle who, um, has become best friends with Calvin and they actually sleep together at night and it’s the most adorable thing ever.
And, uh, you know, I tear up when I think about how cute it is, but anyway, uh, hopefully, a future app update can include some of these enhancements that would benefit parents with kids. All right, folks, thanks for watching.

Today, I’m going to be unpacking YI baby monitor camera. I bought this from Amazon comes up with, um, four cameras. It’s cheaper. If you get four cameras, then, uh, one camera. Um, I bought this for, um, a hundred dollars. So, it comes out to like $25 for each camera. If you buy one, it’s a like $45 one.
So, it is cheaper to get all four. So, in this video, I’m going to be showing you these cameras, uh, open them, YI them up. Um, see if they’re good, I’m giving you my opinion. I already bought one too, just to see if they’re good and I already installed it and I’ll show you that.
But, um, So, let’s get right into opening this up. So, on the package, it shows you that, uh, has, um, you know, like a, it takes a picture all of this holiday, um, the two-way audio. So, you can talk to, uh, in the room where the cameras installed and they can talk back and you can hear them. Um, what else?
So, okay. Let me, let me open this up. Okay. Uh, So, this is what we have in the box just for cameras. So, what they look like, these are the amounts for each one, very, very small come back and you do have to plug them in, uh, there’s one camera that has seen line it’s very expensive. It’s one it’s called our law.
One camera, uh, cost around $200, 175 or something, but it has a battery, um, that lasts about six months on a single charge. And you don’t need any courts. All you do is hand it up and, um, and that’s it. And you’re good for six months, but these are cheaper. And, uh, the way thing that I got is because I like the two-way talking, if something in the room or something, you can talk to the person.
Um, I got this because of, um, my grandpa is pretty old and, uh, we’re going to install it in his house. And, um, So, that’s the reason I got it for. So, all four cameras have chargers, USB even here.
Um, uh, it YI baby monitor, has SD cards. So, if you want to record something and it will, it will record, uh, if you have 32 gigabytes, it will, uh, it will loop a loop recorder. I don’t know how it’s called loop record. It will raise, uh, the other memory that you have, and then we’ll regroup it.
So, hold on, let me put this in and I’ll show you connected the camera to the USB thing. Well, or they use this, um, and then you use this plug. Um, So, you have to download first, then you have to download that a YI . Yeah.
Where are you home? It’s ready to pop in now. Um, I already have an account, but if you don’t have an account, you can sign up down there. Let me sign up. Hold on. Okay. So, I logged into the app and I want to show you see how it says bedroom. That’s the one that I already have installed before I got these four.
Good about that one for $40. Then I bought these for $400 for four, for four. So, right now, um, it’s connecting to the camera that I have in the bed. You can see, um, it YI baby monitor, have, has the motion detection, um, motion detection.
So, if somebody moves and it will show, So, now what we’re going to do and what you will do. Um, you have pressed the add button and pick which one you have. I have this one. So, um, miss says, I hear ratings connect. So, I have to log into my Wi-Fi® that your home Wi-Fi® or whatever. Um, once you connected, correct, you have three types of passwords. So, cute. So, I put my wife, her password again, and now it’s saying face this, you are code to the camera and successful.
So, it says one to two minutes. So, now I told you that it’s connected to the Wi-Fi® and, uh, you named this camera, whatever it’s going to be. So, they didn’t let me, I’m going to put this booming area has that quick save and okay, So, this would have said, um, it will have YI cloud for, um, So, for example, if somebody steals your camera or something, it will upload to our cloud. Um, but you have to pay for that. I think. Um, So, I need to repurchase our class, Christian. Okay. So, I started using my uncle, So, this living room and that’s the other, So, boom. You need to update it.
So, hold on. Okay. So
I don’t load it, uh, update. And this is what it looks like right now. If I move it up, it’s a little delayed, but that’s fine for the camera. That’s how it is.
Um, So, here you can talk and they can talk back.
Um, you can record, but that’s going to go to our cloud. Um, YI baby monitor, you can change the quality of the video, how you are on edge D or Otto. So, Twitter, it looks like, okay, I just want to go through some settings to show you, um, for example, you don’t want that light to shine, right?
Cause its nighttime has night vision, but then, So, you don’t want people to see that light So, you can turn it off from your settings. Um, uh, let’s say you go to settings and So, you see, um, motion detection. So, it will, uh, you can have the sensitivity, um, right here.
So, the light you see, So, I’m ready. I’m going to press this boom, and turn that off.
So, I keep that off, and let’s say you can have a password So, nobody can look at it. Um, So, if you have your camera upside down, you can, uh, she has night vision. So, if your camera sits down, you can turn this on. It will flip it automatically. And um, So, when you won the Mount, just hold on, I’ll show you.
So, I took this off by, um, by twisting clockwise. It has the Gar-like a school thing inside. So, you Mount this first to the wall or whatever, then you put this in and clockwise, turn it. And it locks in back in there and you can adjust to however you want to. And if you want to take this out, you can take it like pump it out, and then you have just a camera. So, this is what you get for $25. And I like it So, far. Everybody’s happy.
Um, you can talk to way audio. I have night visions as I, as I show you right now, look this the night vision. We’re now the room. My grandpa is in the right now. So, this is the night vision. So, yes, and you can, I’m going to change it to HD quality and it’s not bad where you get four, I’m telling her and you can add right now, it’s on two different Wi-Fi® right now. This is one of his own because his home Wi-Fi® and is on my Wi-Fi® and it works well.
So, what can I say? Pretty good. I had this ready for, um, had that camera for already a month and have no issues with it works every day, every night, 24 7. So, if you have any questions, uh, I’m going to link this, um, this product in my description. If hopefully, it’s still, the deal will still be, but a hundred dollars for four cameras. Okay. Thank you for watching and subscribe for more. I’m going to be uploading more videos of unpacking.

The best review Owlet Duo Smart Sock 3 & Cam
Hey, Ray says today, I’m here to give you a review of the Owlet Smart Sock 3 + Cam Monitor Duo.
But as you know, I do not waste your time with anything other than honest reviews. We have also been using the Owlet Smart Sock 3 for the past 10 months that we bought all on our own for our youngest daughter, Lexi.
So first I’m going to go over some details with you and then an overview of the products, and then finally our experience with them. So to start off with the Owlet Smart Sock 3, this is what it looks like.
And this is something that your baby is going to wear on their foot. And it gives you live readings of their oxygen and heart rate. Along with the live readings, it’ll also notify you if they fall out of the preset zones that they have, and also it will track them for you in the app as well. So you can go back and look through all that information.
And then with the cam, it gives you a video stream straight to your phone. When you open up the ally app, I will open ours right now. So keep in mind that the actual outlet is sitting out here, but she can see
That they look at our room with the light on you are able to zoom.
If you need to, but that’s just the look at her sleeping area, her little pack, and play in our room. But yes, it does give you 10 ADP footage right there on the app. So as far as where you can find it and how much it costs, the duo is in most major retailers, I will have links to basically all of them down below, just depending on where you want to shop or where you have your baby bird at.
So as far as cost goes with the duo, which is the cam and the smart sock three, that is $400. The smart sock itself is 2 99. So around $300 and then the cam itself is $150. So you do save $50.
If you get the bundle, it’s also HSA and FSA eligible.
And with all the outlet products, I found it very interesting. They offer what they call a peace of mind guarantee, which means if in 30 days of installing the stuff you do not like it. You can send it back and get a refund as long as you bought it from an authorized seller.
So, so as far as the overview goes, I already showed you a little clip of the Sock 3. This is the Owlet Smart Sock 3, it’s connected to the base. This is the base. And then this is the sock though, actually, go on your baby’s foot.
And this is for babies, five pounds to 30 pounds. It’ll get readings, even through gentle motion, as you saw, it does have wireless charging.
So this right here is the base, and then you just kind of align them. You put it right on there and it’s magnetic. So it just kind of pulls itself, right, where it’s supposed to be. And then with wireless charging, it does give you an eight-hour charge in 20 minutes.
And then the full 16-hour charge in 90 minutes. And then with the smart sock three, they actually offer two sizes for each foot. So there is a right foot and a left foot sock, and there are two sizes available.
It comes with all of those socks. And then as far as the cam goes, as you saw, I still have that mountain in our room, but it does stream 1080, which is HD.
And then you are able to have two-way audio, which means that you can hear baby and baby can hear you if you would like to talk to them. It also has a temperature sensor in there.
So, it’s going to tell you what the temperature is in the room. Of course, it has night vision available. So whenever the lights are off, you can still see what’s going on. And it does have a magnetic base as well. So, it’s easily adjustable. So, onto our experience with everything.
So like I mentioned, Allah did send me this to review, but I did want to make it clear that we had been using the Owlet Smart Sock 3 for 10 months that we paid for, with our own money for our daughter. It was something that we wanted to invest in. I have a review on that Owlet Smart Sock 3 if you’re interested, but we loved it.
We had no issues with it whatsoever. We did have some critiques of it, but all around. It’s something that we used every single day, multiple times a day, she wore it for her naps and for bed. So when we were able to try out this burnt Sock 3, where we’re hoping to see the few things that we wanted to see with the smart sock two and with using that every single day.
So, when they came in the mail, it was pretty easy to set up, especially because we already had an account and she already had a profile and stuff like that.
So it was really easy just to set everything up for her right away. The very first time she ever wore it was at night. And I was very surprised and eager to see that it got really great readings, even if she was moving around.
I don’t want to turn this into too much of a comparison because I do plan on making a separate video, comparing the ins and outs of the smart sock two to the three, but it was very surprising and a good way to see that it was able to get a reading, even if she was moving around and they say gentle motion, but honestly, she was moving her legs a good bit.
So whether she’s just stirring around in bed in the middle of the night, or she actually is wiggling a good bit, it seems like it gets readings a lot easier. Now, one of the very first things that my husband noticed about this when we heard about this product was the fact that the three are wireless charging. He was so excited. And honestly, even if they hadn’t sent it to us, I think he would have bought it alone just because of that, because of the wireless charging, it means that this always gets put back on the charger and it means that we always have a charge.
Like I said, I don’t want to turn this too much into comparison, but it’s very nice now, no matter what happens, we are able to have it ready to go for the next time that she needs to use it.
Because even if something does happen where it’s not put on the charger, it still will charge up in such a short amount of time. But honestly, we have not forgotten to put it on the charger since you can do this one-handed as far as sock sizes and what it comes with.
I was a little confused at first because it’s not how the smart sock two comes, but I actually prefer this one because with this, having the same size sock with a left and right foot, it allows me to wash the sock and still have the appropriately sized one without having to use a wrong size and going up or down or having to buy extra.
So I really liked that basically, everything you need is right there in the box.
And also one of the biggest things that I think was on our wishlist for a newer version of the smart sock when we were using our second generation was the fact that we wanted it to turn on.
When you took it off the base with the smart sock three, it turns on when you take it off, it’s really nice to just start getting her ready for the evening, grab the sock, put it on, and it’s already on. We don’t have to do anything else. Okay.
So about the cam now, now with the cam, honestly, I was a little nervous to try this because some of the reviews online had me a little concerned that it wouldn’t work well. I really try to critique this thing. I really tried to pay attention to what those reviews were saying.
And we did not experience them whatsoever just to give you some reference. In case you’re wondering we have a dual-band router, it sits about 25 feet away from our room, which means it’s not immediately close. It’s also the reason why we have a fair signal, but that’s because we don’t want to move it any closer to our room.
That’s our own choice. And all of the literature inside of the box tells you, you know, the closer that you’re going to be to the router, obviously the better signal strength. So that’s just a choice on our end, the closer you’re going to be to your router, the better signal strength, but even with having a fair signal strength, we can still stream 1080.
It’s still been working just fine. One of the things about the reviews that stuck out the most to me was people saying that the background audio was cutting in and out, or it would shut off.
And I think as far as cameras go, it’s important when you’re using your phone as a parent unit, you need to obviously be able to hear babies crying or not. That’s important. So I really tried this for myself and you actually have a couple of different options as far as sound goes.
When you load up your app, it’s right here, you have on offer background?
So when you hit background, no matter if I exit out of the app, it’s still going to be playing in the background. So when I tested this, I had notifications, I had text messages. I had app notifications.
I was doing different stuff on my phone. I did so many different things, including watching videos, which obviously when you watch a video, it’s a little harder to hear because you have other noise on top of it, but it’s still there because when you pause it, it’s still there.
But I never had an issue. It did not matter if I had my phone locked. If I had it unlocked and I was using it did not matter whatsoever. And even though I think it’s subjective, depending on the phone that you have, how old it is, stuff like that. I did pay attention to how much battery it was using doing the background audio. And it actually took a lot less than what I had expected.
I thought it would use just as much battery as if I was scrolling through social media or something. No, it barely took any battery. Just having the background, audio on my phone and it is locked like this.
Of course, if you’re on your phone, along with the background audio, you know, it’s going to use the battery. As I said, though, that is subjective. I have a newer phone. It’ll be different.
If yours is older or the battery doesn’t keep as well on it. But in my experience, it was no problem. The background audio always worked for us. I can hear her perfectly fine or white noise does come in, but you are able to turn the volume up or down. And honestly, I do not need to have it loud whatsoever because it does pick up the audio really well.
So most of the time I have it at a medium or lower level, I hear her no problem crying because anytime she does cry, it tends to scare me that white noise is just always playing.
So I think I forget a lot of the time that it is actually the cam footage that I’m listening to. And then when she starts crying, it kind of spooks me cause it’s just right there. So crystal clear, I tried really hard to test this and I had no problems whatsoever.
We have never had a problem connection-wise. We’ve never had a problem at all with either of them. They’ve always given us the readings they’ve always done really well. They’ve loaded things.
The night vision on it is really good.
I have no complaints like whether the light is on or if it’s off, obviously when she’s sleeping, it’s off. I have no problem seeing what I need to see. The image is really great. You can decide between the quality of the footage that you would like.
Obviously, I can only speak to our experience, but it was a great one. We had zero issues with everything altogether. And if anything, I love this more and more as we use it. You know, I just love having everything all in one spot. It’s really nice to load up this app and be able to see her life readings and what it’s tracking as far as heart rate and oxygen goes, and to also be able to get that live stream that Kim’s giving me.
It’s really nice. It’s just really nice because when I open up the app like this, normally I do have the outlet plugged in. So I am able to see her live readings. It’ll tell me that her room is okay, meaning like the temperature and everything is fine. And then I get a video of her in her crib as like what’s going on right now.
So I just thoroughly enjoy this. Honestly, it’s very convenient. I recommend it based on the experience that I had. I have no issues with it whatsoever. I’m really excited that we get five extra pounds out of the sock because it does go up a little bit more.
I love the adjustments that they made to the Owlet Smart Sock 3. They are very much appreciated by parents that absolutely loved their smart sock too. I think this is great. It’s a home run.
I would recommend these products all day to anybody. Absolutely. And thoroughly enjoyed them. I think, no matter if you’re interested in the smart sock, the cam, or the duo altogether, I would definitely recommend it. We had a great experience with it. I’ll link the products to various stores down below, because like I said, depending on where you want to shop at or where your baby registry is just to make it more convenient for you guys to find them on there.

The best review of a baby monitor nooie with Wi-Fi® camera
Hey everybody, and welcome back. Today is a great day, because I get to review the new Nooie Cam 360. It’s no secret that I love newer security cameras. They’re just fun to play with, they’re fun to experiment with. But first things first, it comes in a very nice minimal package, pretty lightweight, but you’re not here to see the box, so let’s see what’s inside.
The box contains the following: screws for the mount, instructions, the mount itself, a power cable, and lastly, the Cam 360 itself, along with a power adapter. Now the camera itself is pretty dope. The plastic casing feels light and durable but strong, so it can take a beating if you drop it.
Overall, looking at the camera, I mean, the lens has a nice little sticker on it, which is a nice touch, nice little logo. It has a microphone right beneath the lens. There’s a status light in the front. You can see that there’s a speaker on the side. Right here is a micro USB and a reset button. And on the bottom, you can see that this goes on the wall mount. Now I’m interested in the main features, and not the overall setup. I can tell you the setup itself, from installing the app to your device to set it up is super simple.
Just follow the instructions and prompts, create your login credentials like you normally would, and finally, scan the QR code with the camera and you’re all done. Now let’s check out the key features, the things that excite me the most. The first thing you’ll obviously notice is the 360-degree pan and tilt. It’s in the name, so what does it look like, how does it work? Well, all you need to do, when you’re looking at your phone, is start swiping up, down, left, right, and the camera itself will adjust to your swipes.
Now the 360’s an amazing touch, but what impressed me the most about this feature was just the quality of video that it produced. A lotta times security cameras, when it moves, there might be some pixelation, there might just be a lotta jerks, and you can’t really tell what you’re looking at. The overall 1080p was very smooth, very impressed.
And as you can see in this example, this is a 1080p recording of me testing the motion tracking. You can tell it’s pretty clear, and yeah, it tracks you pretty well. Now, being a father of three, having three little boys that just go all over the place, I love being able to keep an eye on them. So I want to know when they’re trying to escape or trying to leave the house, or if someone’s trying to get in or dropping of a package or whatever.
So the motion and sound detection is a must, and I am very impressed with the response time. You just go into the app, choose a day, choose a time that you want it to be on, and then, if there’s any motion or if there’s any sound, then it will pick it up and send a notification straight to your device, and then you can watch whatever the notification is.
The night vision is pretty good, too. This is great if you plan on using it for outside security or keeping an eye on your sleeping child. A lotta these cameras nowadays, have night vision.
Some, the whites are so bright and there’s not great contrast, but with this one, you can see details pretty good, so I’m actually pretty impressed with the infrared. Now let’s just go ahead and check out the two-way audio, ’cause that’s something else that’s important if you wanna talk to your kids or if you wanna leave a note for maybe someone dropping off a package, and you can yell at them when they drop it super hard.
Whatever two-way audio is important, so let’s check that out. Hey, how’s it going? This is an audio test for the Nooie Cam 360. Awesome, it was pretty clear. I do sound like I’m ordering food from a restaurant, a drive-thru, but, I mean, it actually sounds pretty clear, and it’s not gonna cut in and out or have that distortion that you might have in some audio, but I’m very impressed.
Lastly, the thing that I’ll highlight is storage. I’m pretty impressed with the storage, I know I said I’m pretty impressed with lotta things, but, I mean, these features are pretty awesome for the price point of the camera itself. Other cameras, you’re paying, like, what, 200, $300 for.
This one’s pretty cheap for every feature that you’re getting. So you can record on the app, and it will store in your phone’s photo album, so in your phone’s storage or your device’s storage. You can record locally on an SD card, and you can also set up an account, meaning you can subscribe for secure cloud storage.
Now they’re using Amazon Web Services, which is pretty impressive, and to get 24/7 cloud video recording, it’s only gonna be $5 a month, which is cool, ’cause, I mean, there’s other security cameras that I’ve tried, and it’s pretty expensive to actually get that, or you get just blips of a recording into the cloud.
But to have 24/7 is pretty awesome, and it’s pretty cheap. So if you consider the other companies and you consider what the other offerings are out there, and you compare it to what Nooie 360 Cam is actually providing, man, five stars from me. I really enjoy this camera. So hope this helps you in your purchasing decisions or in your overall security camera search.
Yes, Your friends and family can check out what they wanna see by installing the same app. The app is also pretty easy to use.
Can I mount this Nooie camera to a wall or ceiling?
Yes, of course. You could attach the wall mount piece to the bottom of the camera.
Can it insert an sd card in Nooie
Nooie Cam can support a class 6 or above Micro SD Card, from 4G to 128G.
I do not want to use cloud. Will this device still let me talk to someone from my cell ph… see more
