The best review baby monitors 2 cameras Motorola MBP50-G2

The best review baby monitors 2 cameras Motorola MBP50-G2

Hey everybody, I’m here today to do a review of this Motorola dual camera baby monitor. In this video review, I’ll be going over the features and functions of this awesome little system.

Let’s get right into it. As you can see pretty much what you get inside of the box are the two baby cameras right here and then the parent unit. Now the first thing that you’ll notice is the sheer size of this parent unit. Like it’s five inches, okay? So literally it’s huge. I mean I’m comparing it to the one that I’m currently using which I think is 5 inches. And this seems massive and the one that I’m currently using is one step up from the one that I was using prior to that which was only like, I think 3 1/2 inches. So I mean, the difference between like 3 1/2 inches to five inches, this screen is massive.

Now I’m gonna turn it on and I’m gonna show you exactly what you get and what my favorite features are of this unit. So as you can see right here very simple functionality of it. We have two buttons right here, a plus and a minus, and then we have the power button and then you have all of the buttons over here. And then obviously the sort of the stand that allows it to sort of be held up. So I’m gonna go ahead and turn it on just like that.

Turn it on, we’ll try one more time just press and hold it down, there we go. As you can see, it turns on really nicely. Now I’ve conveniently lowered the volume. So as you can see right now what you’re seeing is one of the cameras. I don’t think it’s this one, no, it’s this one right over here. That’s the camera that you’re seeing. Now, whichever camera you’re on, check this out, this is one of my favorite features. So right now we’re on the other camera.

What you can do is you can actually move it, check that out, look at that. Look at that, like, I’ll bring this down over here. What I’ll do is I’ll move it so you can sort of seeing my face go up and we’ll go across and there I am, and there’s my phone that I’m using to record this video. Really, really cool. You can actually see it moving right over there. Now let’s say you wanted to switch camera views. Well, all that you have to do is press okay. Now what it did is switch the mode. So right now it’s actually stuck on that camera right there.

But if I push okay again, it’ll be rotating back and forth. And if I push okay again, you can just rotate between the camera mode so I can go camera two, camera one and two alternating between them or camera one, two, one, and two, one, two, one, and two, whichever model you want, right?

So if I have it on this mode it’s gonna conveniently just rotate back and forth and you can see right here. I’m just gonna leave it on one of the cameras, just to keep it very simple. We’ll move this up, just like this. You can start to see my face and make it a little bit easier to pay attention to. All right, so if you take a look up here you can see, so it shows us 68 degrees Fahrenheit. That is the temperature of where this camera is at, the camera that’s currently watching me. Really, really cool little feature. Now, if we go to the menu, which is this button right here you can see there’s a whole bunch of options.

We zoom in just like that, so now zoomed in, just gonna go ahead and zoom back out, okay? And we can also do a few other things. So we’re gonna go ahead, we can adjust the brightness over here. We can play different sounds for the baby. You can use a timer right over here. We can change it from Fahrenheit to Celsius, right? Very convenient, you can see 20 degrees Celsius, 68 degrees Fahrenheit.

You can change the function of the camera, whether you’re viewing it, or whether you’re moving the camera that a few things that you can do. You can change, this is for the monitor itself. So you can put the monitor on like a sleep timer where it’ll automatically shut off, you know, the screen after a certain number of minutes. And then you can also do a split-screen, so check this out. I’m gonna go to the checkmark right there which is going to allow it to be a split-screen view.

Check that out, so I’m now watching both of the cameras, like how convenient is that? If you have two cameras in two separate rooms for two different babies, it’s gonna be super convenient. I mean, it’s such a convenient thing or you can use the rotating function sort of whatever, floats your boat, okay? So as you can see right there, we’re just gonna go ahead and I’m gonna bring it back to make this a little bit easier to pay attention to the single-camera view right over there.

So right now it’s on-camera one, as soon as it loads you’ll be able to see. If you want to shut the monitor off, you push that button right there, and shuts off. It turns it back on. You can also control the volume, so as I said, I turned the volume off, and right over here you can see the illumination of the volume.

So if I speak really quietly, it’ll just illuminate a bit, and then when I speak louder, it lights up all the way very, very convenient. I mean, overall, it’s just an awesome little unit and this is the first dual-camera baby monitor that my wife and I are using. And I’m super excited to get it all set up and ready to go. My favorite feature is honestly the movement of the cameras. Like, I mean I can’t wait to just like, Oh, let’s just move the camera, sure. Just like that, it’s so simple. I mean, if you forgot, if you left the book on the floor in the baby’s room, well, just go ahead and check it out, just like that.

It’s something that’s so simple, but you know if you don’t have it, I mean, if I didn’t have this feature on the previous camera that I was using and I didn’t really need it but when you have it, you’ll find that you can use it. That’s, what’s really cool about it. I mean, that’s basically it, so I’m just gonna shut this off and give you a quick view. As you can see right here, another convenient feature something that’s really convenient is on the bottom you can see right there.

That is a tripod mount. Very simply have a pairing button, ’cause you can pair more cameras to this, which I’ll show you in just a moment on the screen. But I don’t have to show you, you can pair additional cameras.

If you buy additional cameras I believe it holds up to four, okay?

But if you have a tripod just like the one that I’m using with the camera right now that I’m using to film this video, you can do that. Now, if you can see right here I will just try and show you the pairing mode. So we’re gonna go over here and we are going to go to the camera and we will go to the plus.

And with the plus you can see, you can pair camera three and camera four, one and two have starred beside them, but three and four are the ones that I would be able to pair in addition to one and two. So I’m just gonna go back, we’re just gonna go back just like that. I don’t wanna pair an additional camera because I don’t have one, but that’s basically it. I really hope that you’ve enjoyed this video review of this Motorola dual camera baby monitor, setup, and system really awesome unit.

I can’t wait to set it up and use it. And that’s basically it like this video review, be sure to give it a thumbs up. Let me know what you think down below as a comment, and of course be sure to subscribe for more great videos, just like this one. And that’s all I have for you today, thanks for watching.
